Employee Spotlight

Shane Honold, Finance Manager

Shane Honold joined Jim Norton Chevy in July of 2024 as a Sales Consultant. Getting to drive brand new Chevys as part of your job was just the first perk! As Shane explains, “I loved helping put dreams in my customer’s driveways and helping train my fellow salespeople.” Fast forward less than one year later and Shane quickly excelled and joined the dealership’s Finance & Insurance team as a Finance Manager. “My management team pushed and encouraged me every step of the way, and I love that my role at the dealership has already grown in a relatively short amount of time.” As a Finance Manager, Shane helps finalize the sales process for Jim Norton Chevy customers – ensuring they fully understand the options available related to financing, extended warranty and vehicle protection plans. So, you could say he is still helping put dreams in his customers driveways!

Eli West, Technician

Eli West started working for the Jim Norton Auto Group in April of 2018 at the Jim Norton Chevy in Broken Arrow. He was part-time and just about to graduate from high school. “I started out as an hourly lube tech, then it didn’t take long before I became an apprentice for the Diesel Technician. After apprenticing, I have been a Technician ever since!”. Eli now works as a Technician at Jim Norton T-Town Chevy in its newly built dealership located at 49th and Memorial. When asked what he likes the most about his work, Eli is quick to answer, “Definitely the daily problem solving! I enjoy the challenge of identifying a vehicle’s concern(s) and providing the best solution to meet the need of the customer. I also enjoy the need to constantly stay updated on changes in the automotive industry. Plus I love T-Town Chevy’s new location and the brand new building – it’s so much bigger and better than ever! The management team and the Norton group have constantly promoted my growth and have been there to help me whenever needed. Not only as a Technician, but also on a personal level. They have always set a high standard and help their team achieve it. Not only providing the right resources and training to push me towards my goals, but also helping me set new goals to keep bettering myself and keep growing!”.

Brandon Terry, Sales Manager

Brandon Terry started working with the Jim Norton Auto Group in 2018 as a New Car Lot Porter at the Toyota dealership in Tulsa. He would move new Toyota’s around the lot while watching Sales Consultants assisting customers with their vehicle purchase. Brandon said to his manager at the time, “I can do that!”. And do that he did! The very next year he joined the New Car Sales team and never looked back. Brandon was a quick learner and a team player. He was quickly promoted to Digital Sales Manager in 2023, followed by New Car Sales Manager in 2024. “The best part of my job is absolutely the people who I interact with every day. We have both the best customers and staff in the business.” When asked what makes his job most rewarding, Brandon is quick to answer, “Helping train and lead the sales floor with a customer service mindset is a key part of the daily process. And building relationships with our customers to obtain their dream vehicle is the highlight of my day!”. Promoting from within the organization is a cornerstone of the Jim Norton Auto Group and Brandon Terry is a shining example of that philosophy. “From the top down this is a group that truly cares about your success. Management not only gives you the tools and knowledge to achieve your goals, but actively helps you make it happen. The culture and environment in place directly helped shape both my success and career path. My goal is to now pay that forward to the newer staff and help them also settle into a great career!”.

Kaylee Knackstedt, Digital Sales Manager

Kaylee Knackstedt started her career with the Jim Norton Auto Group at Jim Norton Chevy in Broken Arrow during the chilly winter of 2022, and has worked at three of our five stores over the years. In her first position, she enjoyed helping customers who called the dealership asking about a vehicle they saw online. She then joined the T-Town Chevy BDC team and now works at Jim Norton Ford in Broken Arrow as the Digital Sales Manager. Jim Norton Ford is the newest addition to the Auto Group and is quickly becoming ‘the place in town’ to get a new Ford car, truck, SUV or van. So, what makes coming to work fun and rewarding for Kaylee? “I love getting to communicate with customers to help them find their next vehicle and navigate through any questions or challenges they are facing”. Clearly Kaylee loves working with her customers, how about with her co workers?! “We definitely have our share of fun here, just ask our General Manager about the time we gift-wrapped his entire office last Christmas”, she laughs! “But in all seriousness, I feel the Norton group is supportive of allowing me to excel within my role... and they are always teaching me new things to help grow my position and success.”
